And it was a 98, its the same body style, but is it a different color of black?

 

dude...open tha front or back door on your driver's side and there's a sticker around tha side of tha seat wit all these words and stuff...and it should say your interior/exterior color...it's a code...a number and a letter or something

I know where the damn sticker is but since it is nt mine and am not able to do this at the moment I was wondering what the code was because I am ordering parts offline. Also, the 98-02 series of accords were the same body type correct???

Similar.... body changed only slightly in the 01-02 models

If you were NOT a noob, then you would know that Honda has made different shades of black for the Accord. Nighthawk Black Pearl and Flamenco Black (I believe that was the name). What happens if you put the two different shades next to each other on the same car? Guess what, they don't match asshat.

Maybe you haven't tried looking for parts before, but some companies list parts, including body parts, as 98-02. Not just by individual years. Would you want to take the risk of buying the wrong shade? The original poster asked a legit question. He's not an Accord owner, and thus probably doesn't know the different colors offered for different years, just like most Accord owners probably don't know the different colors offered on Integras over the years.

Again, you're just making an *** of yourself. Put down the attitude and ******* remarks. They're not getting you anywhere.

mahBLACKaccord, dude... Shut it. Your antagonist remarks are giving me a headache. If SuperSonicBlueGSR needs the color, he should look on the door jam and use the color code to get a correct match. This is what a paint/body shop will need. If he's describing the color, or buying pre-painted parts, then yes, the paint's name will be sufficient. Don't be an *** just because someone presented factual info that conflicted with your assumptions.

 

i'm NOT being an *** juss becuz they conflicted wit my assumptions...mah first post on this thread i was trying to be helping in tellin them about tha sticker...they were rude to me first...i was shocked...juss becuz i misread tha fact that it was HIS car but his sisters friend's car...and he called me a "****** noob"...i felt tha "*******" remarks started with them attacking me. and...i said "i would like to see some links...offering those two different colors" that is not a rude way of askin is it? why am i being attacked becuz i'm a noob on this website? you were all noobs once too, unless you were born with an accord manual in your hand. i don't know WHY companies would have two shades of black for tha 6th generation accord...but i called two honda dealerships in california...and they both said honda only came out with ONE, nighthawk black pearl, for tha 6th generation accord...and on.

 

It is indeed an overlooked fact about these 6th gen accords. Even dealers look ignorant when faced with such a question. You just have to be open minded when something like this arises, and don't jump to conclusions.
