Default Not sure what to do/what do I need for this compression?

So I don’t know what I’m going to do anymore, I was going to originally have a built h22, the internals I have are h23 crank and rods with 12/1 89mm endyne roller wave pistons. I lost my job and I have a new one, but the money is a lot tighter.

My head is set, I need block sleeved though. I pretty sure I might sell the pistons and just do type s pistons. That way I save a grand saved from sleeving and I can spend it on other things I still need like balancing the crank after market axles and mounts, and I would feel confident about doing all the work by my self.

So if you stroke it I know it bumps up the compression, and type s pistons are 11/1 so what size head gasket or how much milling do I need to make 12/1 or 12.5/1?Also my goal was 220+whp do you think I could still achieve this?

You can try milling the head .03" and getting a thin head gasket.
Make sure you check your piston-to-valve clearances. And good luck. I also agree with you getting type s pistons. They will definatley save you a good amount of paper - good luck on the build. Post pics when you get a chance.
That along with high compression(flat) valves - you could make 12:1.

with an h23 crank and rods, type s pistons make 12.3+ compression with stock headgasket and valves....dont change any of that....

yes 220 is possible with this....easily

edit: what cams do you have in your head?? and what do you mean by "set"?

I have skunk 2 stage 2 cams, springs, retainers, cam gears. I was going to use stock valves. I'm like 300 short of sending my head out to endyne for the P&P, so I wasn't concerned about my head. for tuning the engine I have a handata 200. I'm not sure what header I'm going to get. I was thinking ANR, but they are top end. So I might go with DTR or SMSP, but I have to do alot more looking around befor I buy one.

How much are they charging you for port and polish?

I plan on this one

Full-Ported Package D Series Honda $895.00 All Other Applications $1095.00

Includes everything in the Basic Porting Package.
Valve seat height adjustment for proper valve to valve clearance with maximum valve diameters.
Full combustion chamber rework
Full intake and exhaust port rework to optimize flow and port volume for specific engine application.
Ports spot flowed to verify results.
CNC chamber rework to match larger bore diameters adds $100.00.

If I have crower billet h23 rods, If I use type s pistons don't I have to have the rods rebushed?
