please help with cel
ok ill start off by saying that i searched and read everything that came up but i guess its easier to get answers to ur own specific question.
so i used to always put 93 octane fuel in my car but then i didnt drive it for like a month and when i started to drive it again i started to put 87 in it for about the next four weeks. then the CEL would come on randomly after i had been driving for like thirty mins. and sometimes it would come on while the car was still idling from start up. then one day i filled up with 93 and thec CEL didnt come on for a week then i filled up again using 93 and as soon as i turned out of the gas station it came on and has continued to come on randomly but not all the time some days it dont come on at all its getting annoying and since it doesnt stay on all the time i cant get a reading of the code please help im gettin kinda pissed

You don't need to be using 93 octane gas unless you have high compression or boost. Anyway, the CEL isn't coming on because you're changing octanes.
Is the car running okay? Any extra smoke coming out of the exhaust? I would start by testing the O2 sensor.

not sure seems to be runnin ok i didnt think the octane had anything to do with it but put that in there just so i was giving enogh info but it seems to run better on 93 and its not just in my head when the cel is on it dont seem to pull as hard through the rpm's but that might just be where its in limp mode or whatever its called
You have to jump a connector for the CEL to blink. Check here, should be the same if you have a 95. http://www.dhost.info/accordinfo/howto/cel.html
yea i do connect it
if i dont get on it it wont come on but
sometimes when i do get on it it dont come on i think it might have something to do with the cat cause of the smell but its a new magna flow high flow cat
gosh this is gay

Your Ocatne has everything to do with what is happening. The higher Ocatne the better and cleaner the fuel burns. The O2 sensor is detecting the difference and lighting the CEL. If you are smelling the rotten eggs smell from the Cat, you are most likely running rich. This is caused by a faulty O2 sensor. Get a universal one on E-Bay for under $50 and swap it out. Sears carrys the special socket for $9.99 to make R&R easy.
