Well, there's 'I'd like to/I need to lose some weight to make me AND my R faster'...

and then there's 'I can't stop feeding my face with cakes & pies, steaks & fries'.

Voted for what I should do.

After reading that title, are you talking about taking weight out of the car, or putting yourself on a diet to loose weight.

it's funny this came out because i was thinking of ways to loose weight off my car. this week i started my diet. i weigh 160lbs now and I'm trying to get back down to 140lbs which was my weight in HS. Maybe the 20lbs loose can make my car a little lighter

Beer>losing weight

I've actually wonder though if I'd be faster if I dropped 10 lbs.; down to 165 or so.

Truthfully, I'd like to be trimmer for personal health, not for racing. This topic reminds me of my mountain bike racing days when every bike part was weighed in grams. It would take about $500 to make a 26lb bike drop by one pound.

I think this is when one should realize that he needs a faster car

Back before I realized that street racing is dumb, I would purposely not eat all day before going out to meet up with people.

Damn guys I thought I was the only one that has tried losing boyd fat to keep the R as light as possible.

And to clarify yes i do mean losing body weight as in fat, lard.

It doesn't make sense to remove 3 lbs of **** that makes ur ride uncomfortable if your fat and could lose those pounds urself. lol

I'm about 6'2 and weigh about 195. I try to just keep in overal good health. If my car is .2 seconds slower because I'm not a stick, so be it. I don't lose sleep at night over it.
