need little help 01 accord
my dads 01 accord v6 ex coupe, makes funny noises at 2500 rpm.. so i changed the front motor mount.. but while i was doin it i noticed the passenger side was really bad too.. how hard is it to change that one? i noticed the noise isnt as loud and doesnt happen as much now since i changed that 1 mount.. any help?

What kind of noise are you hearing? What does it sound like? When does it happen? What made you replace the engine mount? Just trying to figure out what sort of noise you are hearing.... there are thousands of noises a car can make and it'll be hard to determine without some more info.

its a weird noise never hear a car make it before.. kinda of a creeking grinding noise.. i took it to the dealership and they said they dont know what it is, but they said the motor mounts need to be replaced so i put a pry bar on them and give it a shake and they where pretty bad, leaking out the oil from the front mount and such when i took off the old front mount it sat about 1/4 inch lower then the new one and the plate on top of the old one wiggled like there was no tomarrow..... and its only at around 2500 rpm and when i start the car it also makes the noise

it is kind of hard to help with noises over the internet, a lot of people describe the same noise in a different manner,,,,,so i am assuming the dealership heard the noise as well....and they said they don't know what it is and left it at that????? beside the broken mount which they visually saw did they give u any other opinions???
i have seen a lot of alternator be noisy on v6 engines but they dont make what i would describe as a creeking grinding noise........which area of car is noise most noticable ??

yeah the dealership left it at that... and just told us about the mounts.. i doubt its the altenator.. cause its a grinding noise when it hits about 2500 and u can feel the motor shake when u start the car.. and when your accelorating at hit 2500 rpm u can feel the motor shaking and thats when it makes the grinding kinda sound but its not like grinding in a manual tranny its a small weak grind
