Time to prove most of you are Wrong about the Thinner windsheild...
I thought we established the USDM ITR glass was the same, JDM was thinner...
lemme check up on that.
(ACTUALLY-- that's a RHD unit you're showing there... so we might both be right.)

Righto, I remember reading about the thinner windshield glass but I never saw confirmation about the USDM cars.
Oh, I'm late this time - Chris F beat me.
edit: It doesn't necessarily mean anything, but the Type-R and GS-R windshield glass is priced the same on Delray's site. $429 interweb pricing

READ the article, It's not a "JDM" magazine... The writer said Kilos so I bet it's from England. either way I'm right there was a English version of the car with a lighter glass. So there.

Yeah I saw that, too. Auto Express is a UK-based magazine.
I wouldn't be surprised if only North America got the thicker glass.

This could also not be the right information but just substitute parts...
For example, if you look at hondaautomotiveparts.com...
Upon a search at hondaautomotive parts, you get the following results:
22522 004 VALVE, PROPORTIONING 1997 Civic DX 3dr (Drum Rear brakes, 30-40)
22522 004 VALVE, PROPORTIONING 1999 Civic SI 2dr (Disk Rear brakes, should be the same part number as below)
220473 004 VALVE, PROPORTIONING 2000 Civic SI 2dr (Disk Rear brakes, 40-40)
If thats true, then 1997 DX hatch prop valves are the same part as 1999 Civic Si 2dr, but they magically started a new part for the 2000 SI's?
This is just one error I have found on the site, so their could be a lot more
