Will a D16Y8 go straight into a 93 Del Sol? IS the Del Sol already wired to accept it ect.?

And need the specs for it.

well iam no expert by ne means but i think a y8 is an obd2 ecu and the delsol has obd1 so you may have some switching aroud with your wireing to do

 

yes it will go straight in using your existing mounts. you will have to use your del sol shift linkage though. and like the guy above said, you're going to need a obd1->obd2 harness

 

just go d16z6 there a better engine than the y8 the y8 and y7s were set up mainly for fuel ecnomy...but to get extra horses upgrade the injectors and get the y8 intake mani...or do what im doing build yourself a d16z6..........but if u really want the y8 all u have to do is keep ur computer and change the distributor
