motor question

Default motor question

i bought a 1995 cx hatcback it has a si head on it with a d15b7 bottomend. What is this called? The cars pretty quick for what it is i thought i was buying a stock car but upon further inspection i noticed the head was not the stock one.

the head is prolly d16z6 if it is from a 92-95 si, meaning you now have a "mini me" or sohc vtec now boost it and make it worth while

its not a vtec head the spark plugs are towards the back of the fire walll and it dosent say vtec on the valve cover. I had a d15b7 in me sedan that thing was dog slow this isnt.

i dont know im just going by what i was told, i was told it was an older si head and it wasnt a mini-me or frankstein* or whatever. i can get pics tm and post them. i just know what i see im not new to cars i just dont alot about how to identify head swaps.

nah this motor will never see the track im going to dive it until i get the b16 put in.
