do a search for hoehouseworker, he did a retro for a 4th gen lude, or you pcan pm prelude1897 he does retrofits

What do you mean by "BMW look"? Are you referring to the Angel Eyes look? if so, just search here, or google, I've seen writeups, you're bound to hit one if you try.

Just look at the writeup for a civic, it's all the same, you just have to have the right placement for the projector.

Anyways, from what I can tell, you want to put BMW HIDs into your prelude housings. That's easy. Just search the archives. You can even use the 5th gen writeup, because the idea is the same. Just be creative, if that's possible for you.

 

are you looking for the rings around the headlights that BMW's have (which would be the angel eyes) or the actual headlights themselves...you aren't quite clear on what you are looking for. if you are indeed looking for angel eyes...i know that they aren't too easy to find, even though i've seen it done, and you'd probably have to be creative like wuyuemei said and come up with something b/c it's not really a popular or actual product that's being produced for the preludes...

 

I just put in OEM G35 HIDs into my JDM housing headlights this past weekend. Granted, the light beam will never be as crisp as retrofitting projectors, I think they turned out ok... The casper shields somewhat corrected the beam so that the light doesn't flare into opposing traffic (no one has highbeamed me yet..). Since the weekend, I've tinkered with adjusting the lights to get a good spread onto the ground in front of me. Oh, and please excuse the camera phone pics.

haha.. I dont know if anyone else found that the last line is hillariuos. whooo... it really is the same thing at whatever you look at.. dont have to have somebody hold your hand through everything. Angel eyes would be sweet.

 

Ok well sorry guys I must of said it wrong..I want my projectors to look like tha silver prelude above!.Bright like how all thee new cars are coming out with..NOT angel eye rings ..HID is what I want!.but I don't wanna but an hid conversion kit/box a whateva it is..
So its possible to change MY projector housing with there of a G35/bmw/s2000 or what ever nice car has HID projectors!?

Anyways, if you just want HIDs in your housings, just get a H4 HID kit.

Ok, so he's a certified moron. But give him a break...he doesn't post something worthless every week. Seems to me it's every 2-3 days. I've tallied up a total of all the parts and random shizz he has asked about in the past 2 weeks.

Turbo Kit...1700.00(he claims)
JRSC...3,000
Clutch Kit...anywhere from 150-500 possibly more
Labor...probably 1,500 or so

Comes out to 6350-6700.

Oh, and when you get your JRSC and turbo kit running together I'd love to see it LoL.

 

fyi...I was either gonna do a turbo setup or sc setup..nOt both OK..u act like I'm stupid damit whatever you guys are rediculous!

Oh and YES it was a turbo kit for 1700$...a complete kit at that !..except fuel managment!

I don't think the OEM g35 headlights are HIDs, I believe they are xenons.... The '06 model is supposed to have HIDs. So unless you have some crazy connection.....
