the d17a2 already has VTEC, so yes, you can put another VTEC head on there

I have d17a2 em2 and was gonna turbo but dezods kit doesn't come with intake or filter.(recomends wire mesh in turbine housing)This didn't sit to well with me so come spring I m gonna do a type s swap. THen If Im not satisified then I can get a turbo kit with intake and filter( alot of room in bay with the k20a2 swap) I know a couple of people with them and they just luv em.

well everyone says youll gain the extra 12 hp that the vtec motors have over ours. but i believe that is 12hp from the difference in compression ratios and not the vtec-e

head, compression, vtec and the better flowing exhaust. so by switching the head and the ex exhaust, I would venture to believe you could gain 6 - 8 hp.
