tranny noise, need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 94 d15b, w/ 5 speed
My tranny makes a weird noise at idle but ONLY with the clutch out. and only at idle, the noise goes away when I put the clutch in.

Thats pretty lame man. Now it sounds like the input shaft bearing, according to all of the threads I have read. It takes a lil more effort to replace than the throwout bearing.

I'm going to have to agree with this one! It is a very common thing with D Series manual transmissions!
