Default How much would this be worth?

I have been thinking the last few days that if I restore my crx if I could ever get the money back I will have put into it, how much would you personaly pay, and do you think I could sell it?

I will be completely stripping the whole car.. everything, and puting it on a 'car rotisery' so I can properly paint/coat the underside of the car. I would fix all the rust (rear quarters and a little in the rocker pannles) properly by plasma cutting it out and welding in new metal and using as little body filler as possible. I would coat the wheel wells, and whole under side of the car with POR 15, and some other stuff called 'Lizard Skin' that is almost I guess rubbery to quite the whole car down.
I would also repaint the whole car, inside and out.

Kinda lost at what you are getting at.

Like redo the entire car and then turn around and sell it will all that stuff done to it?

Or sell the car as is with the parts?

Or sell the parts individually?

as a rule of thumb, you will never get back what you put in...unless is purely labor. But if you adding performance parts and engine swaps, kiss the money goodbye

Yeah, if I was to rebuild my car with all of that done to it, how much could I sell it for if/when I dont want it any more.

man you should be happy that the 8000$ worth car would bring you 4200$....usually its around 65%-70% lost in aftermarket parts...plus the fact that people shy away from it, since they think it got beaten on (why build it up for granny driving?)
