I was there at this event..it was off the hook.Ara represented real well.
alot of the cars are ex-prostock cars and some are built to pro stock specs....just running 10.5 or 10.5w tire.

In OUTLAW PRO STREET(10.5) #1 qualifer went a 6.9? #2 went 7.01 and #16 went like 7.8?'s
In PRO MOD #1 6.37(small blck single Turbo VETTE) #2) went 6.44 #12) ARA went 6.70's and #16) was 6.90's
The N/T (No TIME) Street renegade class was the ****. These car are true street racing cars and these cars were pulling back bumper tapping wheelies. Looked like they had Hyrdos. I didn't know the times of these cars becasue no times ws posted on the board. this was a tru street racers class and was set up as if the were actually street racing. some of the guys i talked to had cars runni9ng in the 8's on real street tires or cheater slicks. watching these cars will make you think twice before you challange for a street race. some of these car looked like rust buckets and were pulling low 9's easy.

We have good events out here. The problem is when Fontana is open we fill up the joint in a hurry... That place wasn't designed to host a ton of cars. I'd say its about of 1/4 of what Pomona was allowed to have on Test and Tunes.
The pits at Pomona are just as full and just as crazy when we used to have test and tunes there.
Its a shame. We prolly won't see anything like that ever again, at least until -
Drag City is opened
or
California Speedway is relocated or expanded.
Great looking cars tho...

The owner of the car is on H-T under the username "nycvr6". HIs name is Justin and lives in the NYC area. Body is a '97 and it runs a VR6 turbo. He's made a lot of changes to it recently and I believe is working on dialing it in. Nice car.
