setting ignition timing on b18b
i did a search but it didn't really answer my question..... what i wanna know is who here has adjusted/set their ignition timing (via rotating the distributor, like it describes on the c-speed racing site in the "how to" section).
i have a b18b that i would like to set at 18 degrees btc.... so far my research has confirmed that that is a safe place to set it at and will give me the most gains.
those who have done it to their LS's.... how do you like it? did you notice anything? i only have a butt dyno so that's what i'm going on...
thanks in advance for the replies.

You won't notice ignition advance on a "butt-dyno."
The gains might only be fuel efficiency....and not much at that.
18 degrees should be safe. Your motor suggests 16 plus/minus 2 degrees BTDC.
