the other day my o2 sensor wire got ripped but when i turn my car on the CEL doenst come on right away but like after 5 min of driving it will come on lol has anyone expierenced this yet lol thanks

most ecu dont read o2 at start up, the car is in open loop until it warms up then goes into closed loop and reads teh o2

yea but when the wire was connected to the o2 sensor it did the same thign but when i have it off of it it still does the same thing

That means that your o2 sensor was bad. I had a bad o2 sensor and the cel would pop on at random sometimes.

If you have a malfunctioning o2 I wouldn't bet on it.

ECU doesn't use the o2 for that long because it needs to warm up.
