i like the color a lot...not a HUGE fan of the body kit, but to each his own. i think it'd look a whole lot better with all the stock bumpers, skirts and maybe a little lip up front, and the molding stock black with some different (smaller) wheels...but like i said, to each his own. sick *** color tho!! post some more pix-n-**** when its complete...
rice.. alot of people here dont like ricers.. JDM yo? but yea if you like it.. and you get girls to jock you.. then more power to u.. if you like it thats all that matters.. i aint hattin.. its just not my style.. yadidimean.. butanyways.. good job man..

hehe... why u say that? cos ppl on here don't like kits??
yeah - ive heard about peoples views on here and i thank you for your reply - hoping you're not one of those who will leash out.
... but in my defence I'll just say im half/half when it comes to kits. I find the mugen/cyber kits to be stylish and suiting the CRX shape - and im definatelly a person who makes their cars clean and simple.
Im open to criticism anyway... but when people say rude stuff - well - thats their problem not mine.
All in All... i like the car - im creating it the way i've visualised it. Still have some time before its 100% the way I want it... there could also be things I might change while im doing the work.. who knows.
So far the comments are positive...

thanks... AaronJDM
I believe there are different definitions of the common term 'rice' and people see it differently.
I definatelly like JDM styles but who says JDM doesn't involve kits?
Trends change, and if you look back a few years JDM styled cars did have small and big kits on them. Hell, why did MUGEN make a kit for the CRX if its not JDM? what about SPOON kits?
just my view... and as you said... if you like it, which I do... im stickin with it
thanks for your comment anyway mate.
Don't worry - there is a Gen1 coming to my garage soon done JDM style with a Mugen Kit
a JDM gen1 Mugen Kit

Not feeling the rear bumper and wheels. Projectors are alright, but the fitment between the corner lenses and the projectors doesn't look very good. Is that gap between them supposed to be there?
If you like the car, then that's good.

Hi AntF,
as I said - unfortunatelly the kit needs re-adjusting. the panel beater or rather the workers there have no idea about fitting the kits - or making them line up. I'll be following it up with them over next few days... but 'no' the gaps aren't meant to be that BIG....

psst, JDM is just a glorified scene of "ricers".
JDM is about spending lots of money to buy parts that make cars look different.

All the same in my eyes.
but, in relation to this thread, why isn't this post in the pictures thread or the appearance forum? I like the color and the taillamps.
It also looks like you spent some time/effort/money into a RHD vehicle (unless you're not stateside) so you can make it difficult for drive-thrus, drive-up ATMs, being pulled over (you will be, it's a honda), and giving money to bums...all in the name to "Look different".
EDIT: I'm not suggesting you do anything different with YOUR money and YOUR car. afterall, YOU have to live with it, not I. The point of my post is two fold:
1. you posted it in the wrong forum.
2. you are suggesting that JDM and "Rice" is different, and they aren't in essence

Love the hood
Love the spoiler
Love the paint
Love the tint
Love the tail lights
Now onto some constructive criticism
Hate the wheels (too big & flat-faced)
Hate the kit (poor fitment as you mentioned, gaps between body panels are too wide, may be from previous accident? Rear bumper looks warped or just very poor quality fiberglass work)
Hate the headlights & cornerlights. (They not only look poor together despite both having black housing, but they don't look right on the car. They don't match the bumper lights, and they don't fit well enough to look factory.)
Hate the mesh (How hard is it to cut a piece of mesh to fit the gap you're trying to fill? Also fI recomend spray painting it black so it's less noticeable)

haha quite true, but to most people, jdm looks clean, and most people who are into "jdm" are into performance work, and again to most people, "rice" is fugly and usually ricers think their motors are "fully built" when they have i/h/e. the ultimate combo is a ricer with sick motor work done, can we say sleep?
anyways off topic...
take some more pics and update once you think youre finally done, i wanna see thr route you take....also any pics of the engine bay? what you running under that "zc hood"? lol
