Forget about it Discontinued.

I used a junkyard 94-96 lude hazard switch for maybe $5, it is the same as fog switch (dimensions, plug). After that I changed the plate - the triangle has been replaced by a fog light symbol I extracted from another junkyard car switch. The symbol I found was a bit bigger, so I fileed it to fit into prelude switch.

Also some electrical work is needed inside, but it is very simple. The hazard switch is more complicated than fog light switch, so easy to do.

And finally looks 100% OEM

If you want one of these expect to pay some $$$ for it. I saw one on E-Bay go for #110.50, no joke.

I got one for myself, but I didn't pay no hundred dollars for it..

I might can get you one if you want... Just let me know!

7999996217 is the ebay number. the guy says he has a bunch of different switches and you can chose. but the one 2nd from the left looks like the prelude one.

none of these switches is a 94-96 one

It is on the right side of hazard switch. Same size. That's why I fabricated mine from a hazard switch (not my photo, it is a stock one).

I have a new JDM fog switch left over from the JDM fog light kit fitted to my 5th gen (same switch). I used another switch to wire in my fogs, If interested PM me with an offer.

I would, except that it's been discontinued for quite some time now.

Don't get me wrong - my hopes were high when I looked at hondaautomotiveparts.com and slhondaparts.com, but then I found out that no one carries it.

I thought the foglight switch also went back where the 4 holes are. maybe there were different options?

well I know there were different options because there are things like this

Yes, it is a 1992-1994 JDM switch that fits these holes. It doesn't fit howevet the hole near hazard switch in 1994-1996 car.

But can be used alternatively.

pmed some of the guys who said have a fog switch.

The one on ebay is 94-96 fog light switch!!! isn't it? (7999996217)

and 97-01 fog switch the same as 94-96? I really needed one to fit into the 95 vtec console I got, so yea, it is not the one on tweeter cover.

If there is no luck, i will use the paper clip method.

It's actually for a 92-93 Prelude (91-92 in Japan). The 97-01 fog switch fits where the roof switch button goes, but I think it's more compatible with the 92-93 Preludes since their fog wiring is already in that dash tweeter location.

That switch in the E-Bay Auction is for a 4th Gen Prelude. I don't know of any differences between '92 - '93 & the '94 - '96. I can take a picture of mine and show you guys.
I'm not sure, but I didn't think there was a difference in the '97 - '01 either.. There might be though..
