Default Coilovers+Struts, del sol

Ok this is for my del sol. I currently have some non name brand coil-overs and stock struts. Came this way when i bought my car. How-ever they are really squeaky and the rear struts are blown. Therefore time to upgrade

im either gonna replace everything or replace them piece by piece and see if the problem isnt fixed. problem being they are loud and feels like im on a water bed and the car bounces around alot

whats a good coil-over, and whats a good adjustable strut to go with

keep in mind this is for a del sol, i never do autox, hardly every do drag, car is a daily driver, im not looking to spend too much money so dont reccomend any tein 1k set-ups or anything of that nature

just looking for a decent daily driver set-up that i can adjust to get the look i want and not sufer to much performance

my struts are for sure getting replaced, ive been thinking of going with kyb struts

the coils may need to be replaced, i have no idea how old there are

i have a 93 del sol. get some tokico non-adjustable blues or tokico 5 way adjustable illuminas. either will suffice. There is about a $150 price difference and honestly, blues are all you need because they make them perfect out of the wherehouse. If you want springs, get some Eibach or Tokico, if you want coilovers, get skunk2 or some other name brand.

thanks

i think im gonna go with
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

and then my current coil-overs, if it still sucks then i will get some skunk 2 coils but the shop said i should be ok with a decent set of struts "current are worn out and 1 blown"

Or you could go with the Omnipower coilovers. I have had much sucess with them. Plus they only cost 650....690 with the LCAs to add some bling factor.

I came prepared. The reason the Omnipower struts blow is because people do not preload them correctly. They automatically stick them on the car and think all is good. That is wrong. You must loosen the top nut and tighten the spring all the way and then tighten the nut. It even says so in the instructions..

id rather pay $230 for struts and use my current coil-overs then spend $700 on omni stuff

ive already bought a omni master clutch cylinder, blew, replaced-blew, replaced-blew, refunded

i dont buy omni product's, personal experience has spoken, and i lost alot of time and money from that master cylinder clutch, was well as being stranded several times from it seizing up

spent $260 on that cylinder, replaced it 3 times, my daily driver was down for like a month, had to pay for a tow truck...TWICE

sorry, but f.uck omni

i'm runnin $100 coilovers and tokico illuminas on my del sol. its decent, but the cheap coilovers impress me. i've owned them for over 3 years now and still not a problem.

if you really wanted to go cheap head to your local junkyards and get shocks off an integra and keep your no-name coilovers. besure to have your alignment checked tho.

I would say roll with Skunk2 coilovers and tokico blues.
