Anti freeze mixture..
I have a 1999 civic hx and I just flushed the radiator with water for about 5 mins. It didnt drain completly cuz I didnt have the time. I noticed a slight green coolant coming out but I plugged it up anyways. Then I added some orange coolant to it.
My question is will there be any harm coming from mixing orange coolant and green coolant. Note there wasnt alot of green coolant.

yes harm can come from mixing them
u need a special radiator for the extended life antifreeze or it will corrode
drain it asap and refill it with green antifreeze

i was told by one of the techs at a local Chevy dealership that there is a chemical in it that will corrode the metal in radiators
the new gm radiators that have the extended life antifreeze are made from something different
im not sure about the exact chemistry but now that this was brought up i am gona look into it cuz im curious myself

ratio is 50-50 for hondas. Use distilled water and YELLOW coolant.....the ratio stays the same regardless of how the temperate is (cold or warm) Check your hoses and radiator for deposits. I did mine last weekend, easy as pie just do it right and make sure to bleed ur radiator, otherwise ur CEL light will turn on. Luck to you, bro

If you drove your car than it is in the block and you still have orange coolant in your car. So if you did drive it you're going to need to get/do a complete coolant flush. I suggest you take it somewhere and have them do it.

Let the engine cool down and drain the radiator. Turn the climate level to hot, so you can flush out the heater hoses. Take off the upper and lower radiator hoses, and then take out the thermostat and replace the housing. Reattach the lower hose to the thermostat housing. Take a garden house and place it into the upper part of the block and let it run for awhile. I had the engine cool so you dont worry about cracking a hot block with cold water. Since you left the lower hose unattached to the radiator the water will run right to the ground instead of all over the engine bay. Once its all cleaned out get out as much water as you can. Put the thermostat back in, replace all the hoses. Top off the radiator with GREEN 50/50 water/antifreeze. Let the car warm up and top off as needed.

dex cool will eat the expletive out of hoses...
do this, then take your car to a real mechanic from now on.
