JH4DA9389PS000001 . so I bought this car for the engine and trans, It took a light hit to the front but it is totally fixable. The car has 196,xxx miles on it. I was just going to pull the engine and trans and dump it but the VIN has me a little intrigued. Any thoughts???

You want the engine/trans for your racecar? Thats a B18A... the 94-91 LS integras have B18B engines.

I think Andrew has another Integra thats a auto. If I am not mistaken he was looking for a 5 speed tranny for it.

I think he means the 000001 at the end of the VIN. Could be the first 93 made?

Shawn is right, the engine/trans are for another 93 that we have, parts are for a 5-speed conversion. The fact that the VIN is 000001 is interesting.....

It might be fun taking the front clip from the 1993 auto and restoring this one. (Depending on how bad the damage is.)

The first DA would have been made in 1990 (or late '89 likely).
