Default Question

Does the injectors help the car's overall performance. I know it depends in what you got and so on, but in an average (excluding turbo engines), is it worth it?

thanks

for a stock motor? No I don;t think so.
On a fairly-highly modded motor (turbo, or high compression Na)? yes because you can add the fuel needed to operate that motor to its potenial.

they only help when you get to the point that you need them. If you are getting more air in the motor than stock, then you may need more fuel (try to stay as close to 14.7:1 A/F ratio as possible). Basic bolt on's are not enough to require new injectors. On a stock or near stock motor, more fuel will just bog the motor down, it'll run worse and you'll make less power.

What about if the engine has air intake, catback, cams, cam gears, fuel presure legulator, clutch, header, empty catalitic and hondata, would it be nessesary to have injectors

the cams are the only thing there that could possibly require larger injectors. When you add cams, you need to get the motor tuned. When someone is tuning your motor, they will tell you if your injectors are maxed. You're probably fine.
