Default VAFC worth keeping?

Ok, I sorta discussed this awhile back and ignored my CEL for a few months but I would like to resolve this before winter hits.

Right now I have I/H/E no cat, tuned w/ VAFC2.

I am returning code 67 - Catalyst system Efficiency Below Threshold malfunctioning or defective catalyst system(no big deal since I have no cat)

and code 22 - VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch.

In result the car goes into limp mode once in awhile. More often when the car is in VTEC alot (ie lapping days)

Many ppl around my area are suggesting to remove my VAFC2 and believe it is the cause for code 22.

Do you think I should leave the VAFC on and get the VTEC oil pressure switch/circuit checked first, or save my money from mechanic costs and just remove the VAFC? It's true the VAFC doesn't make much of a difference(some claim it makes things worse compared to stock ECU), but I am still happy with the powerband change.

Opinions?

I should add that I have no intention on spending anymore money on this car for mods AT ALL due to other financial commitments. I just want it to run properly.

Then sell everything you have and convert it back to stock form where it didn't have any problems till you touched it.

My installer claimed that it was hooked up, but it's definately worth a try.

That's what I did, although I really couldn't afford the maintainance and insurance. It's in better hands now, but I miss her!

You moron, he said he wanted it to run properly which it probably did before he started his attempt to modify a perfectly working car.

I think he was being serious.

If you race in any sort of stock class, you have peace of mind instead of nominal power gains with codes/compromised fuel & oil consumption.
