Anybody know how much juice can stock/oem engine mounts handle? I’m planning to boost and hit around 200whp on my JDM d15b. need to know if I should upgrade?

 

should be fine. I suggest getting some poly mount inserts to help with wheel hop though

even with stock single cam power good motor mounts help out a lot and make the car a lot more fun to drive.

ii don't know if he still makes them, but i have all three mounts and they're doing the job very nicely for $100

 

upgrade them anyways and u will notice a difference, with 200whp u will really notice a difference

 

i agree, stock mounts are made for granmas and granpas... they handle good on automatics because the shifts are smooth but on manuals suck big time...

i'll be putting jimfabs when i swap a motor in there and turbo... for now though, i'll just use windo-weld
