when i turn the ignition to on the engine light and battery light come on as usally and appear very dim, i go to start it and nothing happens.. my battery is in the trunk so i braught the battery to the front and hooked jumpers up to it and put the positive to the starter terminal and the other jumper to the tranny loop thing.. now the car start? is it the battery cables that go to the back or the starter? someone helpo

 

fixed the problem, but my vacuum lines are still messed up so i got a diagram and starting matching them up and i notice i dont seem to have a purge and regulator solnoid on my firewall ( got the shell from a friend ) is the car still driveable?
