Default Fuel pump fuse.

Can anyone tell me which fuse to pull to to shut the fuel pump off? I have to pull my intake manifold and I don't really like the idea of having a fuel rail full of fuel when I tap it for my fuel line to teh fuel solenoid.

I just pull my main relay

You could just relieve fuel pressure with the gas cap and 12mm banjo bolt on the rail. Fuel pressure will be relieved then and you can yank it off.

I want to get the fuel out of the fuel rail, so I'm going to need to crank the car over a couple of times. 1. If I pull the main relay will I still be able to turn the car over?
2. Where is the main relay located in the fuse box?

Pressure is there after the car has been running. Best thing to do is to get a rag and cover the bolt that goes onto the fuel rail and disconnect it.

Or take the bolt out when it's stone cold, no pressure should be there.

Well, the main relay will do the trick. Removing it just does not complete the circuit for the fuel pump, you can crank away. Removing it is tricky, as it's located way up under the dash on the drivers side. It's maroon in color and is in a silver case. It's mounted by a bolt which is a royal PITA to get access to. What I have done is get a long skinny flathead and just pry a bit on each end(left&right) to get each side to pop out. it comes out with not much effort after releasing it from the casing.

I know this description may sound confusing, it's not easy to access. I remember looking for this thing for 20mins when I thought I had a bad one. I have a perfectly good one for sale too!
