Default Does this sound like a good idea?

I want to order a cheap *** CAI like so:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

Then go buy a K&N or AEM filter and put that on it instead. The end product would be a really decent CAI that is still really cheap. My only concern is will the piping in the link above fit how it should?

sounds like a good idea i was wanting to do the same thing. however i believe the ebay piping is smaller than AEM or such brands. 2.5inch to 3 inch i think.

Shouold be fine just measure the diameter of the piping go to K&N website find the right size filter and take that part number to a K&N dealer and have them order it, they make like a million different shapes and sizes: http://knfilters.com/universal/universal.htm

Ahh good call on the piping diameter. I'll probably be doing this sometime soon Can't go wrong with a "custom" K&N CAI for under $100cdn!
