Ok, when i put the car in reverse and i start backing up after about 2 feet something locks up and it feels like i ran something over, thats what i thought the first couple times. THen it happened again and i was sure i wasn't running anything over. So i needed to reverse and when it locked up i'd lay off the gas and let it slide forward a little and i guess it "unlocked" and i reversed another feet or two and it would lock up again... HELP?? and i bought the car used and notice it was hit on the front right side....

YEa no probs going forward, and i wouldn't be surprised if it is the tranny, ever since i bought the car used about 6 months ago, i can hear messed up bearings in there, i researched, and got myself a new clutch w/ throw out and the other little bearing and while i was in there changed the ISB. still had a sound coming from it after i put it all back together...

This is partly why im getting my friends LS motor/tranny soon, but if its a wheel bearing issue i need to know. Cuz new tranny and axle wont take care of the problem.

i cant see how a bearing would lock up spinning up one way and be fine goin forward
