Rules on STX-Class
I know that STS is basically the same as STX or vice versa; with that in mind are you required to run full interior; or can you remove some items ie;rear seats spare jack etc... this is my first year to autocross so im learning... thanks
STS follows STOCK rules except for the list of allowed modifications and the list of restrictoins...
STX follows the STS rules except for it's additional requirements (bigger displacement limits, turbos, LSD's, etc).
Neither class allows removal of the back seat.
All calasses allow the jack and spare tire to be removed.

Yeah, STX is like STS, but allows more than stock VLSD, so Type Rs are allowed. Also, you can run aftermarket high flow cats, not that it'll get you much, except perhaps on a turbo car.
Both require 140 or greater treadwear street tires. No R-compound. Must have full interior.
Edit: STX also allows alternate factory motor mounts (Mugen for Hondas, Nismo for Nissans, etc.)

And on cars without LSDs you can add ONE.
Cats can be moved as long as it's 2-6" from orginal point.
Mount mounts can be replaced by sister aftermarket company like named above.
