Default b15b7 -> y7 intake manifold swap

I tried searching this but all I find out is information on how to swap a D16y8 intake manifold onto a D16y8. Is there a way to swap a D15b7 intake manifold onto a D16y7 engine?

Will there be problems because the D15b7 is obd1?

Any help would be greatful!

Thanks guys.

Why would you want to do that anyways..?? I hope not for performance reasons.. You're bolting a stock DX/LX i/m off a 92-95 into 96-00 DX/LX/CX... Just wondering...

use the z6 IM. I've done it, no problems. Use the y7 TB and injectors.

Have fun, go fast.

Have you seen the y7 intake manifold? It's one of the poorest fuel injected intake manifolds that honda has created.

Ax3l, do i use everything else like the IACV, fuel rail, etc? If possible can you give me details as to what you did to swap it over. Like which intake manifold bracket did you use? Any redesign of the coolant and vacuum lines?

Thanks!

the b7 manifold i THINK is better, if its the one with the small plenum, but at least the TB is on the side. The D16Y7 manifold (i had one) is a bad shape, and after the y8 mani swap, my engine pulled a tad more, and my MPG went up. anything beats the flat y7 design with UN-equal shape runners.

Just from a visual inspection I can solidly conclude that theres no way that the Y7 manifold is better than any previous Civic mani (except the eh2 cx )
