New Del Sol guy here
Hey everyone, I have been into Hondas for about 5 years, owning a few crxs, and still owning my crx dx, but today i picked up a Del Sol, I got a 1994 Del Sol with 47k origional miles, it came from factory with a b16, i believe the b16a3, bbs, 14 inch wheels, leather interior, and pretty much all stock, i will post pics soon when i get a chance, but just wanted to say hi, ive been in the crx forum for the last year, but plan on being in here too a lot, i do have a question though, im looking for a good coilover suspenison setup, and i was wondering what most people were using, my budget is about 600 or so, and also whats the exhaut most of you are running. Thanks for everyones time, i appricate everyones answers
You should check out the del sol pros and cons thread in my sig, I personally run TOKICO shocks/struts and springs, there not coil over but I think they ride better then coil overs. Good find on that tho what did you pay if you dont mind me asking?
i paid 5400 for it, i ran a kellybluebook and the retail price on there said about 6000 so i think i got a good deal, but like i said im more of a crx guy, i just got into these cars, there is a little damage to it, the hood, bumper, and headlights, but the person included new parts for it, so i just need to put them on and get them painted, so do you all think that was a good deal or? Yeah i dont have to have coilovers, i run the tokico suspenision on my crx, and it seems to be pretty good.
ohhh, just watch out for headlight damage those can cost you an arm & a leg.
And, even tho it's not about springs but strut & tie bars are a must. trust me.
