Throttle body sticking.. Need help quick

Default Throttle body sticking.. Need help quick

I just finished my swap and put a JG edelbrock manifold with a b16 throttle body well the problem is my throttle is sticking I think I take my foot off the gas and push in the clutch the rpms sit at about 3k and I can stick my foot under the pedal and lift up but when I do the car will die.. Need help thanks

It actually sounds like your gas pedal sticking, not the throttle body. If it were actually the TB, then lifting the pedal with your foot wouldn't work. Unhook the cable & work the pedal. Figure out which bushing is tight/dirty/sticking & deal with it. Check whether the cable is sticking too.

Then you'll probably have to fix your base idle setting. It's probably all messed up to compensate for the pedal sticking.
