Default Crx Tranny Question

Hey I have a 1 Gen B16 tranny (cable) and I blew it....I was wondering if I took it to a tranny rebuild place, if they would be able to repair it....Because I was thinking they wouldnt be able to because the trannys are rare and maybe the gears and syncros are hard to get? I dunno? Or maybe they can use the gear out of the 2000 SI civic B16 tranys (hydro) I dunno what to do....let me know if anyone has tried to rebuild ASAP...thank you!

I'm thinking that the cost to rebuild it would approach and probably exceed the cost of getting a new transmission. That's been a few of my friends' experiences.

I would get a new one but they are hard to find. And too much money...around $700
