something around my turbo area is sounding like a chainsaw idling...i took the filter off of the turbo and checked for play but nothing, i'm not sure what else it could be.. car still runs fine but that noise is making me wonder.. is there anything else it could possibly be? i'm not even sure what to say the noise sounds like just maybe chains dragging lol...

 

is it a drag kit? if so chances are the wastegate gasket is probably blown out. check the wastegate gasket.

 

just put a new wastegate gasket in.. it sounds like its from the turbo but it doesnt have shaft play
