Well my oil pump went and as a result I threw a rod right threw the front of my d16z6's block. It's time to get a new motor. Originally I was looking for a b18c to put in. Then I thought to myself that might not be the best there is for my CRX. I was talking with one of my buddies and he said that a K20a would be a good one to use. Would a k24 with a k20a head be even better or even fit for that matter? Basically, what I'm looking for is what's the best motor I can fit into my CRX without adding to much weight, keeping it somewhat down on cost? I never really liked the idea of a turbo, I'm more of a high compression person. Also, I want to be able to drive the car pretty much every day, and be able to race it either at an autocross or on a circuit. The higher the rev limit the better. Thanks.
