Check your oil. Low oil pressure will alter the effectiveness of you VTAK, since it relies on a certain oil pressure.

Low oil could cause it. When I first bought my '99 Si, it was almost bone dry.

electrically diaconnecting a sensor is not going to improve flow, just unbolt the cat and see what it looks like, drive it around with an open header for a while to see if its the exhaust restriction.

then try the fuel filter.

hondas have a lifetime fuel filter, not saying it would hurt but dont see a point in changing it. check your cat, air filter and valve adjustment

BS... they get dirty like every other filter out there... change it... might not be your problem but it will help with gas mileage and a smooth ride.... think they need to be changed like every 105xxx miles or something like that. every filter gets dirty no matter what car its in.

cutting your o2 sensor will not improve the flow of exhaust through your cat. have your converter checked and either gut it and get an o2 sim or buy a high flow or a test pipe. then youll have MAD VTAK!!!

your not understanding me...im not sayin if i cut my o2 will it make it all better...im sayin if i cut it will it hurt anything besides a CEL if not imma just cut it to get the cat off and gutted...b/c the sensor on the cat goes all the way in the car somewhere and i cant get anything to grab the o2 to take it off and its rusted up in it so i wanna just cut it and gut my cat and run a cel until i convert my car to obd1..??? sorry for the confusion
