Very nice car...but you better be careful cause cars like that are often stolen very quickly.

Search for SuspendedHatch and find his website. Don't know it off hand and get some kill switches in there too. Get as much security for that thing as possible. Great find and even better CAR! Join the EM1 crew. WElcome.

You're gonna want more than a DEI alarm, not that DEI sucks. Look up SuspendedHatch's website as already stated for more ideas on theft prevention. That's a clean EM1 keep it that way.

I have kill switches in both of my del Sols, and they are tried and true, and so simple... the switch is off, car doesn't start. On my show car I have them in two seperate, VERY hidden locations, and one is wired to my fuel pump and one is wired to the starter. I turn them both off in shady areas, but usually just one is off. The more kill switches, the merrier, for sure. It's also well worth your money to be sure your alarm has window open sensors. Honda windows are VERY flexible (hell on my del Sol I can pull the window out a good 3 inches from the door), so an alarm that goes off when the window is tampered with is in your best interest. Another couple of things to think about/do...

-Discreet locking hood pins
-lugs that you need a pretty unique key to open (Si wheels are VERY popular, and you don't wanna find your car on blocks)
-A dummy siren which is in the place where an alarm siren would normally be found, wired to the alarm, and then the actual siren well hidden. (this saved my buddy Brandon once... his dummy siren wire was cut, which set off the alarm like it was supposed to... theives left his car hood up and everything... they just ran)
-An alarm with a mute alert feature. If ninjaness is your thing, you'll like this. If the alarm is triggered, from the car it doesn't make a noise. But it sends a page to your controller. Which means you get the luxury of walking/running outside and going *tap tap* excuse me.... what the hell are you doing? :D

Just a few ideas... awesome buy on the new car, and I hope it brings you years of happiness. Nice clean ride!

Are Si's as bad as ITR's when it comes to theft? I almost developed an ulcer with my R.
