alright you guru's..

this might just be the question of the year.. ive just been informed from a dude, that my 01 ITR is runnin CTR cams.. i call bullshit, but he's sayin 00' & 01's where runnin the same cam as a CTR.. help me out here..

 

LOL this was just discussed not even a week ago. Check around page 4-7 and see if you can find it.

 

intake cam only, but yes he is correct!

and since you are relatively new..... learn to use the SEARCH function.

 

lol, sorry guys, my fingers forget about the "search" thing.. still new.. anyways, he can still go blow a gasket, cause i was 1/2 right.. lol.. neerny neerny neerny

 

ohh yeah.. so why just the intake cam, not the exhaust side? they make it bigger for the extra .2 liters? more duration or over lap or sumfang? or should i search

Something like 3 degrees more duration.

 

well.. im sure when my ITR see's a CTR (if that happens) he'd shake his cam and say.. yeah.. well my cams 3 degree's longer.. then go about his marry way.. anyways, thanks for the help guys, percccciate it.. ohh yeah, wheres all the honda-tech bastards i have heard of.. nobodys been anything but a big help to me.. is this another myth busted? neener neener pee pee boy!!

You are 100% wrong, the other guy is right. CTR and ITR exhaust cams are the same.

BTW, this "neerny neerny neerny" crap needs to stop.

 

USDM 00-01 itr cams = ctr cams
JDM 01 itr cams = ctr cams
any lower years are the regular itr cams with that 3 degrees less duration on the intake cam... or was it the exhaust cam..lol
