Default about to take this out of the sol...

im pretty much fixing the water leak in my del sols trunk and am about to strip the whole thing with air craft remover to take out all the sealeant before i re-seal all the leaks and factory seals. now what i want to do it take out the roof holder so i can work better and also so it doesnt get ruined. will i mess up the figure of it when i take it out? like, will it be un "balanced" if i were to take it out? just wondering. thanks-

aircraft remove the whole trunk? thatll be a big mess. is the leak coming thru the tail lights? if so i would just replace that instead of stripping the whole trunk.
