Default del sol Leaky trunk, good rubber, no rust

I have a 95 del sol s with a trunk that has mold growing in it from constant leaking.

I have checked the rubber, checked for rust, and all looks good.

Where else should I check for leaks?

my ek hatch was leaking, i had no idea where... found out it was leaking from my tail lights. I dont know exatly how the sol's tails are set up, but i put a bead of caulk around the behind of both of my tails and it stopped my leak. good luck.

If you take off the bumper, (underneath the taillights) there should be to black looking box (I’m not sure what they are called) but they allow air in and out of your trunk. Take off, silicon, push back in, silicon around it and you should be fine.

It this doesn’t work, and you still leak. dry it up and tell me where your water is.

sail panels is what i think hes talking about. When you look at the back of the car, its the plastic parts that are right on the side of the windwo, looks like a sail that goes from the roof to the trunk area. I got that too like i got water droplets allllll over the top of the inside of my truck, and they froze over. Other than sail panels and the vent hole, any other areas that could make water get in a del sol trunk?

also, check the height adjustment on the trunk. by twistin the rubber pegs you can control the height, which may give you a better seal.

take your pillar covers off (the peices that run down the b pillar). there is two holes that they cover up that should have a peice of rubber in. normally they wear out or just fall out due to shitty manufacturing. anyways fill up the hole with some calk or whever you choose, it will fix the leak, same thing has happened to hundreds of us sol owners on solsociety.com and that is the fix we have come up with.
