motor cuttin off....
usdm h22 cuts off, not all the time, but most of the time it will do it in 1st and 2nd...if i punch it it'll fall apart....now if i punch it while in vtec already most of the time the motor will pull like it should...fuel pressure is 40 psi WOT and got a holley fuel pump...no cel either...**** is driving me crazy...if you have any ideas, let me know...
i started my car 2 days ago...just normal driving....punch it in 1st and it starts cutting off...today i was talking to some1 from my area and he told me to change the ignitor....says when they go bad, the car will cut off at any given time and sputter, etc...
How many miles on the timing belt? Mine was doing the same thing and just last weekend the timing belt went.. very bad for me... turns out there were a couple of "teeth" missing and was probably causing the problem before I messed up all my lifters and all. Newer engine for me cuz its too much money to fix.
I got my engine from hmotorsonline.com and according to them, the belt had about 45k miles. Dumb me for not changing the belt before I put the engine in, but either they lied to me or it was in bad shape from sitting... or defective belt..

rubber + tension + dry warehouse air + long time sitting = ruined belts...
change your timing belt when you buy a motor....
