so what kind of camber kit is everybody running in here? my car is butterflied pretty bad and i'm going through tires like a mother even with my alignment. i never purchased a camber kit in my life and i know squat about them except what they're used for. i would like to know a reputable brand (1 set for the rear and 1 set for the front) and a price range i should be looking at. thanks in advance.
edit: anybody in here hear of the washer trick for the rear?

Skunk2 in the front. It seems to do well, although I have not had the car professionally aliged yet. I just bought a skunk2 kit for the rear but have yet to install it. Once I get the rear installed it will be time to get it aliged.

Yeah, I purchased mine from this guy: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1179927
$165 shipped, and I had them pretty quick. I believe it was three days or so.

I was disappointed in the Ingals kit, when I had my EF. It was the older style, that replaced the two bushings on the front control arms. Once adjusted, it lifted the front end of the car roughly an 1". So, the front end always sat higher than the rear.

Hmm.. The kits I've heard about, I'm not sure if they were the 'older' or 'newer' kits.. I will definitely keep this in mind when buying my camber kit.

I was pleased with my front skunk2's (offer over +/- 4 of adjustability) Can find them on ebay for about $150 - some with free shipping.
I have pictures of them on my cardomain.

as you adjust the camber closer and closer to 0 degrees it will gradually "raise the car back up" since it has been pushed so far negative after a big drop... i think you had a problem elsewhere and not the kit... ive had ingalls on every honda ive owned and never had a problem with the front being higher than the back

im using the omni front upper arms and the shims in the rear. came as a package with my suspension setup. they also have an actual rear camber kit too lookin at about 150 up font and 100 in the rear. pretty much the same thing as the skunks

No, it was a issue with the kit. I uderstand the waya camber kit like that will "raise the car". While I enjoyed correct camber, the issue of the heigth difference was probably noticed more by me, than anyone else. I even had a rep from Ingalls contact me with a few things to try. He apparantly read one of my posts somewhere about it. This was before they had the ball joint kits.

It's been a few years. The main thing I remember was, I should jack the car up, until the wheels were off the ground. Once they were off, loosen the bolts from the control arm. Then, lowere the car, and allow it to settle. Once that was done, I needed to cram my hand up under there, and then tighten the bolts down. He wondered if some how the bushing was binding.
I think now, it was probably the wrong application for my suspension setup. And I was probably really the only one who could tell it was like that.
