'91 LX - auto hunting in and out of lockup
As stated, '91 Accord LX with auto trans. At highway speeds it hunts into and out of TC lockup. Soetimes I can get a dozen good miles out of it but mostly I put up with that 200 rpm rise/drop constantly, regardless of throttle position, or hills or whatever. Turning on Sport mode does nothing.
I know this has been covered here before but I couldn't find anything with a search. Sorry!

If you want to check the throttle to pressure lever adjustment, here's the skinny.
When you open the throttle by hand; just as the RPM starts to rise so should the pressure lever on the front of the trans case.
Shift point test; rolling along at light throttle at 24 mph, smash the gas and trans should downshift to first gear; rolling along at 27 mph smash the pedal down and trans should shift only down to 2nd.

So are you saying one of these two things cause excessive TC lockup hunting? Or that they are symptoms of another problem?
