i have a 93 honda del sol s. it has a black hood on it and its drop on the front. a guy wants to trade me his eg hatch for my sol. is it good? which one is worth more? i was told my sol is more. both car are stock. he has a cf hood, one piece headlight(projecters), and an intake. i have only an intake. what you guys think. heres a pics of both cars.

i would say ur sol is worth more.....but it guess it really all comes down to the miles and condition of the 2 cars

 

Sol in my opinion. because A) I own one and love it. and B) Sorry, but are more hatches than Sols out there.

 

your prolly going to get a lot of people on here leaning torwards the EG hatch, but everyone has there own opinion of what looks better,drives better, has more potential, etc.. I personally favor 92-95 coupes and hatchies, what trim is his ? have you driven it?

 

i love the sol, i personally have a white one like yours but its a 94 S. but its up to yoru pref. as said before, there are more hatches out there than sols.

 

im a sol guy so imma say sol too, cuz like the above ppl said there are more hatches then sols out there and dude comeon u hav an convertible civic...not a lot of ppl can claim that

 

keep the sol because since it has a black hood it must be worth more. lol

 

hatch because i like them and i think sols are ugly

 

i would stay with the sol..... if you wanna trade for a eg i will trade you for mine straight up. and mine has more done.

i like the sol better... i love egs as well but your sol looks better than that fugly hatch so id stick with it

 

I would take a del sol anyday... they look nice, top comes off, back window goes down. sick cars.

i personally like the Sols i had one and loved it i plan on getting another one some day. but if you really like the hatchs than sell your sol and buy a hatch and still have quite a bit of cash left over and buy alot of upgrades because the sols sell for a sort of high price.

 

you got that right!

 

keep the sol. you'll regret it in the summertime if you traded it for a hatch. nothing like summer nights in an open top. but then again, i'm biased

Just stay with your original plan. Keep the sol.

 

Im an EH owner and I say keep the sol.
You have a nice looking sol there...

and you might want to blur that license-plate.
