OBD1conversion,which scanner to use for CEL??
Ok i have a 97 civic with an obd1 conversion harness and a p28 ecu..I got a CEL and i need to know which scanner to use to check the engine light.Would i use a obd1 scanner or an obd2 scanner? Thanks -Baker

just jump the plug under the dash and look the code up, no scanner necessary with OBD1 ECUs.
not sure exactly where the plug is on the EKs, but I know thats how it works with a conversion harness.
