how to replace front wheel stud on 2001 civic

I would like to know how to replace the wheel stud on a 2001 civic ?

pull the hub, knock the old one out, press the new one in.

so i need to take the hub to the shop and have it press out ? or i can do it with a hammer and hammer the old stud out ?

the stud costs 99 cents but going to a shop will cost you 75 bucks, lol. **** aint right.
