ok im going to replace the complete valve train on his gsr head and install the pistons and arp rod bolts but im not sure which pistons are good so that the valves don't hit.these motors aren't meant to rev high, valves can hit at around 8000rpm.anyone know what aftermarket pistons would be good?

Any will be ok, its more or less the rod length, and cams that you use that would hit or not. Just clay the motor with whatever pistons you use.
