Default i need some help!

hey, i have a 96 honda civic hatch... i have two problems... i noticed this about two months ago... i started to rev my engine at high rpms i heard a ringing sound... and im pretty sure my intake isnt whistling... i was just wondering wat could be the problem... another problem i have is wen i rev my engine before i want to get off quick sometimes wen i shift from 1st to 2nd the clutch doesnt catch all the way... its weird... i have my foot all the way off the clutch and it is all the way in second... i think i need a whole new clutch but you have any advice or info that would be great...

Rev-ing high in no gear isnt good for your car, its built to handle a load. Your clutch is burnt to **** get a new one.

oh **** i use to drive a 97 ek hatch back too. the when you Hear the Ringing sound it mite be youre intake manifold. and for youre clutch problem i had the smae problem too.. it wasnt grabbing on so well. maybe its youre gear box. not youre clutch . i had to change my gear box. for some reason. i dont know it didnt make sense at alll

could be manifold something buzzing around the manifold or could be your timing is too advanced and you're pinging
