No tail and dash lights on 92 accord
i have a 96 and i had the same prob. under my hood theres a fuse box, not sure about where the 92's are but on the pattern on the top look for "Dimmer Relay" check that and see. hopefully that works out, its a 15 fuse also
I checked all the fuses and did not find any bad ones.
Where is the "small light" fuse?
There is a "lighting relay" in the fuse box. I will try that one out.

Fuse #23, under hood fuse box. Should be a 15amp.

The lighting 'combo' switch might be the problem, you can remove the steering column shroud and test for voltage going to the switch on the red/green wire; Then with the switch in the "parking light" position you can test for outbound voltage to the tail lights.

the schematic by the dude should really help you,, you need a test lite. like dude said chk for power at connection 449, red/green wire combo switch connector, i cannot remember wether that wire is hot all the time but to make sure put the key to on, if u get power there, turn lite switch on, chk power at same plug at red/black wire, ,,, if u get power than the switch is 0k........if u get no power u got a bad switch, but try 1 more thing, jump red/green and red/black together. if all works replace switch....if still no work u need to diagnose a bit further ..post results...........

I will try this tonight.
The small light fuse is OK. ...all the fuses are OK.
Thanks for the help. I will post results tonight or tomorrow.
This is killing me with standard time. I need to be home by 5:30 around here. I already have written warning from most of the local cops to get this fixed. They sure don't miss a car with no tail lights.

i guarantee that once u fix the issue with the lite the ding dong donger will work ..

It is that switch. The line coming in had 12ish volts. The line going out had nothing.
I took the harness off and jumpered the two wires and it all worked.
Nobody has light switch, so I guess that it is off to the dealer. Any words of wisdom for changing the light switch?

piece of cake......remove the steering column cover, it will expose the lite switch, unplug connector, remove the 2 screws that hold switch in.........real easy
