Default LS block or GSR for my EM1

I'm going for an all motor setup. b16 head on either ls or gsr short block. im planning to get this short block

i was wondering if this block with gsr rods and oversized ctr pistons has the potential to have more power than an ls block with ctr pistons. also if this short block is a good deal for 500.

GSR has a rod/stroke more in tune with the revs you'll have to put through it to make serious power in an NA formulation .

IDK... With the LS, you'll get this crazy thing called torque, but...... poor mans type r setup is good as well. You swap the LS crank in for a longer stroke as well

Go with the GSR block. You will make up for the lack of torque with higher revs. 500 isnt bad if you know what you want to do with it. Pretty cheap actually.
