Default b16 transmission rebuild...?

I dont know the code for the trans but its from a JDM b16a motor. I need to rebuild it due to third, fourth, and fifth starting to grind. Plus it might sell better in tEH future.

I am a noob at this but i will have experienced people helping me out during the rebuild. I want to find out any writeups on here showing how to get the job done. I also want to know how much i'm looking to spend plus the best tools possible to get the job done.

Please help me i want do due this during my winter break from school...i have 5 weeks hopefully that will be enough time.

What kind of information are you looking for? When you split the cases stuff wont go flying all over, if you know what to do.

well im sellin my whole b16 swap as a complete package, which includes everything. It has 38000 miles or so. I only put around 8 thousand, with the oil changed every 3. I'm lookin for 1500$ for everything, motor, trans, ecu, shift linkage, axles, JDM ITR header, high flow cat (2.5" for ITR flange).

I have my old LSD B16 transmission apart too. It comes apart easilly. (the case) However, you DEFINATLY want to invest in a Helms manual for a DOHC VTEC engine. (VTEC Del Sol, 94+ Integra, 99-00 Civic Si) Its not an easy task. If you are going to attempt it, have an extremely clean work area, and be very very careful. The damn spider bearings are the worst part. The ****** fall apart everyplace if your not careful...

I would recommend replacing all of the bearings and get an LSD, if it isn't equipped.

Good luck!
